Brown Bag: What Data Tells Us About Teaching Tulane Students

Event Date
Uptown Campus
Richardson Building
309

Through participation in two national surveys of undergraduates, Tulane learns about the expectations of its incoming freshmen (TFS) as well as the actual experiences of students at Tulane (NSSE). Data gleaned from these surveys can help faculty better understand our student population and their experiences and, thus, inform teaching practices. Attendees will l learn about the high school academic experiences of freshmen; what freshmen expect or anticipate about college; the classroom experiences that seniors have had over the course of their Tulane experience and how they feel about those experiences; and how each of these may inform how the academic experience is designed.

Please RSVP. Lunch is provided!
