In this talk, Dr. Klesse historically contextualizes feminist critiques of monogamy to highlight how recent feminist-queer critiques move away from focusing only on hetero-patriarchal marriage and romantic love, and instead shift attention to intersectional and structural power relations along the lines of race, gender, class, and sexuality.
