The Phyllis M. Taylor Center for Social Innovation and Design Thinking would like to invite you to an exciting event being hosted in conjuntion with the Global Livingston Institute, the Payson Graduate Program in Global Develpment and the International Development Program at Tulane's Department of Political Science. Dr. Andrew Ward, a professor in International Development and the Director of Special Projects at the GLI, will be speaking about how homegrown New Orleans social entrepreneurship contributed to the development of the largest free concert series in East Africa.  Today, the HIV Awareness "iKnow" Concert Series provides record-breaking health care services to community members.   Dr. Ward will detail the misison and vision of GLI and how it aims to educate students and community leaders on innovating approaches to international development, emporwerment, collaboration and personal growth.  Join us on Monday, Feb. 11th at 6:00 pm in Weinmann Hall, Room 110.  A reception will follow.  Please RVSP by Friday, noon, Feb. 8th using the Eventbritelink or by calling 314 2991.
