Serendipity and Vision in Scientific Discoveries

Field Research is key to discoveries in science, especially in the tropics.  The seminar will track 30+ years of serendipity in Asia, Africa, and even Covington, Louisiana that led to significant advances in understanding infectious diseases, their origins and the driving factors behind their emergence.  Lunch will be served.
