NSO: Multicultural & LGBTQ+ Student Orientation

From the moment students and their families arrive on campus, we want you to know what support systems and resources we have in place to promote your success. With this in mind, we invite you and your parents to our annual Multicultural Student Orientation.
Beinvenue & TU Preview Reunion & Reception 5:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
During the first hour of the orientation, we welcome you to join us for a reception featuring a variety of hors d'oeuvres. The reception will also be a great space for new students who visited campus during our Multicultural Fly-In events hosted by Admissions to reunite and meet other new students and their families.
Student Session 5:45 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
For students, we host a session that focuses on developing strategies to promote a healthy transition to college life. You will also get to know other students in the class of 2023 as well as upper-class student leaders. We recommend that you use this time to ask questions about anything and everything Tulane during the session.
Parent Session 5:45 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
We also offer a concurrent session for parents to hear directly from campus partners in the Center for Academic Equity, Academic Advising, TUPD, and other offices. This is a great opportunity to ask questions that will position you to offer guidance when your student is making critical decisions throughout their time at Tulane. The goal of this session is to offer information that empowers you as partners in your student’s educational experience.
