Education Service Retreat

CACTUS is hosting the first of its Service Retreat series.  Each month, we will host a half-day weekend retreat with a particular focus category, be it education, food justice, environment, medicine, or otherwise. It will include engaging discussions about ethical service and the context of service in New Orleans and will have a 2-3 hour service component with a community partner.

This month's service event is focused on Education.  We will partner with SciTech, a local school that needs help packing backpacks for low-income students and updating their play spaces.

Lunch and transportation will be provided!
