This class utilizes heavy bags, focus mitts, kettlebells, TRX, and other tools to create a compound workout like no other. You can expect to work on skills like punching, kicking, agility, speed, power, and a healthy dose of metabolic conditioning. Boxing gloves and wraps are required - please bring your own.

This class is geared towards beginner and intermediate fitness levels. Lead by certified personal trainers, participants will gain knowledge in developing their own workout plan, learn strength training exercises, technique and safety.

Tuesdays & Thursdays l 5:30pm

Session B:  March 19 – April 25

Come with TU Outdoor Adventures on a scenic sunset paddle of Cane Bayou! This incredible bayou includes three different types of ecosystems, tons of wildlife, and an incredible view of Lake Pontchartrain. Cost includes boats, transportation, and leadership.

Put on your best Mardi Gras costume and join TU Rec for a 1-mile fun run through campus.  Following the race, top runners will be awarded t-shirts and prizes will be given for best costume(s).  Refreshments are provided for all runners. Register online at IMLeagues.com/Tulane or register on-site prior to the start of the race.

Spend the second half of your spring break relaxing on the beach with TU Outdoor Adventures! We'll be spending four days at Grand Isle State Park camping right on the beach. Trips in the past have seen migratory birds, dolphins, and sea otters! The trip will include a mix of relaxing, paddleboarding, exploring the nature trails in the park, and playing beach games. Cost includes transportation, food, gear, and leadership. 

 

Cost: $150

Spend your spring break with TU Outdoor Adventures on one of our biggest trips of the year! This backpacking trip will be Thursday-Sunday of spring break. During this four day trip you'll learn basic outdoor living skills, push yourself physically, and get to know other students. Cost includes gear, food, transportation, and leadership.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Office of Gender & Sexual Diversity, and the Department of Campus Recreation join together to offer this special Wednesdays with The O event.  Join us at the Reily Center for some activities and free food!

 

March 13

Join TU Outdoor Adventures for our Wellness Retreat in Fontainebleau State Park. This restorative overnight trip is focused on both mental and physical health. You'll make your own healthy meals, go swimming and hiking, meditate, and practice yoga. Cost includes food, transportation, gear, leadership, and yoga instruction.

Join TU Outdoor Adventures for a moonlight canoe on Bayou St. John! Cost includes transportation, gear, and leadership.

Showcase your skill, knowledge, and/or luck by picking a winner with our bracket challenge for both the Men’s and Women’s NCAA tournaments! Entries are free, opening on March 17th and closing after the tip-off of the first game in each tournament, with registration at IMLeagues.com/Tulane.
