Grand Isle Beach Camping

Join our popular beach camping adventure to Grand Isle. We'll camp on the sand, hike along the barrier island, play beach games, and try stand-up paddleboarding on the water. Registration fee includes transportation, instruction, food, and group equipment. Mandatory Pre-Trip Meeting February 14th.

Yoga in City Park

Take a moment away from your on-campus responsibilities to reconnect with yourself and New Orleans in this guided outdoor meditation and yoga class. Feel free to bring a journal and friends to enjoy City Park for a few hours of free time after the class.

BoxFit45 & KickBoxFit45 Class Registration Deadline (Round 1) - February 9th

Maximize your high-intensity workouts with this quick boxing training class. Add the fundamentals of heavy bag boxing into your workout routine with this 45-minute circuit workout class. The primary focus will include working with our personal training staff to learn basic boxing bag movements and workouts safely and correctly. Boxing gloves and wraps are not included with registration. Recommendations for personal boxing gloves and wraps will be provided within email registration confirmation along with listed on our small group training webpage. 

KickBox45 Demo Class

Trauma Informed Yoga

Join SAPHE and Body Respect Week to practice joyful movement and mindful yoga! Mats, blocks, and other equipment will be provided.

Downtown Yoga Class Series

Join Campus Recreation in Tidewater 1225 on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm beginning September 26th for a four-week, Vinyasa Yoga class series. Use this time to connect to your body and let go of stress through mindful stretches and deep breathing exercises.

Class is drop-in; however, space is limited. Please bring a mat or towel and water. There are a limited number of mats available to borrow on a first-come, first-serve basis. Classes run through Tuesday, October 17th.
