Peace Corps Prep will be hosting Dr. Trina Van Schyndel for an informal coffee chat. Trina served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine and is currently working as a recruiter for the Peace Corps. 

 

Come hear about what Peace Corps Service is like and how it can be a step in your career path!

Renter's Rights Workshop

Jane Place Neighborhood Sustainability Initiative, in partnership with Tulane's Center for Public Service, present information on renter's rights in Louisiana. This will include information on the landlord tenant relationship and access to volunteer attorneys. Know Your Rights, Know Your Power!

St. Martin Summer 2024 Study Abroad Program Info Session

Join us to learn about this exciting opportunity to study abroad while fulfilling your 2nd Tier Public Service graduation requirement. Spend two weeks in St. Martin in the Caribbean working on an agricultural farm with Rastafari elders and learning about food, cultural, and economic sustainability in a post-colonial context. You will meet with local artists, activists, elected officials, youth, and scholars, while also taking a class and learning social sciences research methods.

IARSLCE 2023 Conference

As a community of scholars, researchers, practitioners, students, and community partners, the 2023 IARSLCE Conference will be held at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 25-27, 2023. The theme this year is: Redefining Research, Access, & Inclusion in SLCE. We hope to create an expansive and inclusive convening that encourages emerging, mid-career, and advanced professionals to learn and grow together.
