One of Cuba's mos influential musicians and producers, Robertico Carcassés, joins the Chair of Tulane's Music Department, Dan Sharp, for a live interview about his career and ongoing projects.

Pianist, composer, and producer Robertico Carcassés is one of the most vital influencers in Cuban music today. During his impressive career, Carcassés has toured and recorded with many of Cuba’s top pop, jazz, timba and singer-songwriters, including Descemer Bueno, Dafnis Prieto, Yosvany Terry, Santiago Feliú, César López, and Alfred Thompson.

Havana "street poet" Telmary Diaz, winner of the 2018 Latin Grammy, is a rap diva extraordinaire. Her fun, funky, outrageous, outspoken, and above all conscious grooves and lyrics have earned her recognition as a trendsetter for Cuba's urban music scene.
