Cuban Musician Robertico Carcassés

One of Cuba's mos influential musicians and producers, Robertico Carcassés, joins the Chair of Tulane's Music Department, Dan Sharp, for a live interview about his career and ongoing projects.

Pianist, composer, and producer Robertico Carcassés is one of the most vital influencers in Cuban music today. During his impressive career, Carcassés has toured and recorded with many of Cuba’s top pop, jazz, timba and singer-songwriters, including Descemer Bueno, Dafnis Prieto, Yosvany Terry, Santiago Feliú, César López, and Alfred Thompson.

Latin American Writers Series: Andrea Palet (Editorial Laurel)--POSTPONED

Editorial Director Andrea Palet presents the history, philosophy, and ongoing projects of Editorial Laurel, a publishing house founded in Santiago, Chile in 2014.
