As Ramadan begins in a few days, we're planning to host an iftar for the Tulane Medical Students. An iftar is a meal that Muslims eat when it's time to break their fast and this happens during sunset time. We're hoping by hosting an iftar, the burden will be lifted off the Muslim students as they can come eat with us and foster a sense of community away from home.
