As a part of International Education Week celebrations of the value of international education, the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) is pleased to offer a day of workshops on November 17, covering a broad range of topics related to admitting and supporting international students and scholars.
The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) and Human Resources (HR) will host an informational overview of F-1 and J-1 on campus employment. OISS is joining forces with Katy Bassett from HR and John Harvey from Payroll to host a workshop about On-Campus Employment and the student hiring process. Students can come and learn about finding an on-campus job, immigration regulations, the student hiring process and even how to apply for a social security card and other necessary documentation to start their employment successfully.
