KerryAnn O’Meara is Professor of Higher Education and Immediate Past President of the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE). For ten years she served as the Director of the University of Maryland ADVANCE program which supports the hiring, recruitment, retention and advancement of women and Black and Brown faculty. Dr. O'Meara's research examines faculty careers and academic rewards systems with a particular focus on organizational practices that support and limit the full participation of diverse faculty and engaged scholars.
