The Climbing Club will be going to the fly and having a get together, with snacks included!

Members of the Rock Climbing Club will be going on a climbing trip to Chattanooga, TN over spring break. With the experience of a paid guide, any level of climber is welcome to join. We ask that you bring your own shoes, and any equipment that you have. Details of this trip include the following: 

Guide Info: Mike O'Mara from High Point Climbing will be our guide on March 24th and Marc 26th. We have these days booked already, payment will follow in the next few weeks. 

Itinerary:

March 23rd, Saturday: Leave New Orleans 

We're taking a group of 4-8 club members to City Park to participate in their Super Saturday volunteer event on March 7th from 9am to 12pm. We'll be meeting on the steps of Reily at 8:30 am and will be back around 12:30pm. Attendees should dress in closed toe shoes and weather appropriate clothing that they don't mind getting dirty. Attendees should bring a water bottle and sunscreen/bug repellent (if they wish).

On Sunday March 1st, we will be taking a trip to the Uptown Climbing gym in Baton Rouge! Uptown Climbing gym has top-rope climbing, lead climbing, and bouldering. We will be leaving campus at 9:30am and return around 4pm.

On Saturday November 23, the club is taking a trip to the Uptown Climbing Gym in Baton Rouge 

We will be participating in City Park's Super Saturday event to help set up for the Celebration in the Oaks. This will entail stringing up lights, putting up small Christmas trees, and hanging decorations. This event goes from 9am to 12pm but we will be meeting on the steps of Reily at 8:20am. We should return by 12:30pm. Transportation is provided and space is limited. Please wear closed toes shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. bes sure to bring a water bottle.

On October 6th Tulane Climbing Club will be partnering with the New Orleans Boulder Lounge to host our very first Climbing Competition! All skill levels are encouraged to participate. NOLA Boulder will be creating specific competition routes, including dynos and technical challenges. The top three climbers of the competition will be eligible for prizes.
