Sammy's lecture aims to make music students aware of some different and extremely relevant career paths available to them within the music industry. It specifically focuses on commercial music production. Sammy covers how charting music is made today and how anyone can work towards becoming a part of that process.
Short Bio: Sammy Haig is a trumpeter, producer, and songwriter from Cleveland, Ohio.The Jew in the Lotus is a best-selling account of dialogue between rabbis and the Dalai Lama. Poets and teachers Rodger Kamenetz and Norman Fischer will reflect on the essence and continuing impact of The Jew in the Lotus for Jewish and Buddhist communities worldwide over the past three decades.

Please join us for a lecture by Diana Barbara Greenwald, Professor of Political Science at The City College of New York, City University of New York, in which she will summarize her research on Israel’s regime of “indirect rule” in the occupied West Bank and its effects on local governance of Palestinian communities. Israel has militarily occupied the West Bank since 1967.
