2024 Engineering Capstone Design Expo

Welcome to Tulane University’s eight annual Engineering Capstone Design Expo. This is an opportunity to view and acknowledge capstone projects and academic achievements of students in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Engineering Physics, and Computer Science.

This year’s expo will take place in the Qatar Ballroom and Kendal Cram Room in LBC on Tuesday, April 23 from 9 AM - 12 PM.

The EXPO will be opened 9:00AM by SSE Dean, Professor Kimberly Foster, and be followed by a viewing of the presentations and interactions with the students.

SSE Strategic Planning Meeting

The SSE Dean's Office is hosting an SSE strategic planning meeting that will be attended by the Dean, Associate Deans, and all SSE Department Chairs.  An outside consulting company has been contracted to run this meeting.  I am waiting on details from this company as to what type of meeting set-up works best for the meeting, as well as an AV needs they may have or need for the meeting.  I will relay that information directly to the TRCC once I have that information.

4th Annual Lower Mississippi River Science Symposium

The Lower Mississippi River Science Symposium seeks to establish a recurring forum to connect academic, government and NGO scientists and managers in the region to share their research, ideas, and needs with a goal of building synergy. The theme for this recurring forum is three-fold: optimizing the data collection network, strategizing the next generation of models, and outlining key applications of the data and models for management decisions.

Tulane Engineering Forum

Since 2000, the Tulane Engineering Forum has provided learning and networking opportunities across the broad range of engineering disciplines and topics… aerospace, infrastructure, water and climate, oil and natural gas, energy, and electricity generation. In addition to covering topics of local, regional, and national interest, the Forum also offers practical professional and technical skill development.

This Forum is organized by the engineering alumni of Tulane University and the Tulane School of Science and Engineering with support from the School of Science and Engineering.
