Neurodivergent: Film Screening and Community

Join Tulane University Libraries, the Goldman Center for Student Accessibility, and the Office for Multicultural Affairs for a community-building night centered around neurodivergence! NEURODIVERGENT is a 25 minute film about filmmaker Afton Quast Saler's experience in understanding her ADHD diagnosis during the pandemic. This short film is a personal, mixed-media representation of neurodivergence and explores the lack understanding and diagnostic practices of identifying ADHD in women and girls.

Film Screening: Die Dreigroschenoper (The Three Penny Opera)

A free adaptation of Bertolt Brecht's famous play, "The Threepenny Opera" (directed by G.W. Pabst, 1931)  is one of the first German sound films, and an entertaining one at that - an irreverent musical with the catchy songs of Kurt Weill and a star-studded cast. This screening is in partnership with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, as part of the Germany on Campus event series.
