Advanced Features of EndNote X9

In this workshop hosted by Tulane University Libraries, participants who are already familiar with EndNote X9 will learn how to get the most out of this powerful citation management tool. Learn the different ways that researchers can use EndNote X9 to share references with other researchers, import PDFs, find and change citation styles, use the EndNote Manuscript Matcher, and more.

Requirements: Familiarity with EndNote X9 is required. To learn the basics of EndNote X9, attend the introductory workshop.

Introducing the New PubMed

PubMed, the largest database of biomedical research, is undergoing a large redesign which will be made live this Fall. In these brief hands-on sessions hosted by Tulane University Libraries, we will explore the changes made to PubMed such as the search interface, results algorithm, navigation, and more. This session would be useful for either the new or experienced PubMed user.

FairUse in the Time of COVID

Online instruction and course materials in the context of Fair Use during the time of COVID is creating lots of conversation among educators and librarians. In this presentation hosted by Tulane University Libraries, you will learn about different viewpoints about Fair Use principles to inform judgments about posting online course materials in Canvas during this time of crisis.

Navigating the Music Score Databases

There are a number of library licensed, open access, and commercial resources for digital scores. This workshop hosted by Tulane University Libraries will explore how you can search for and access scores in library licensed resources such as Classical Scores Online, Naxos Sheet Music, and IMSLP. If time allows, we will also briefly touch upon a few open access resources for critical editions.
