School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine (SPHTM) Awards Ceremony

The SPHTM Awards Ceremony honors the academic achievements of our public health masters and doctoral students (the undergraduate public health students are honored thru the Newcomb-Tulane Senior Awards Ceremony held at McAlister Auditorium same day).  SPHTM awardees are notified by their department, of who will be receiving awards.  Dress is casual; no regalia required.  No tickets required.  All are welcome.  Ceremony will be held at the Tidewater Building, 1440 Canal St.

Reframing the Narrative on Mass Incarceration and Health

We are excited about this semester's the Health, Racism, and Communication seminar series presented by the Tulane Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health, Mary Amelia Women's Center and the Dean's Office of Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

(1) discuss the factors leading to mass incarceration in Louisiana,

(2) identify ways in which jails and prisons are public health spaces,

(3) discuss lessons learned in collaboration and communication, and

Contributing to Decision-making through Data
