TU SPHTM Graduation Ceremony

The 2020 SPHTM graduation ceremony will take place at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts (1419 Basin Street, New Orleans, LA 70116) on May 16th at 3:30pm. All graduating students MUST arrive by 2:00pm for check-in and robing. Students and/or guests requiring special accommodations due to mobility difficulties should contact Lacey Allen (lallen8@tulane.edu) by Monday, May 4th.

Join the Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health for a seminar to learn how to network for career development and personal growth.  At the seminar you will learn why it is important to network for your career development, how to network at the American Public Health Association's annual conference and how to meet people relevant to your field of expertise. You will also learn how tools such as Linked In and your resume will help you network.

Get the Most Out of APHA

The Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health welcomes you to a seminar teaching you how to navigate the American Public Health Association's annual conference.  You will learn basic background information for the conference, hosted this year in Philadelphia, PA from Nov 2-6, 2019.  You will also learn how to plan your time while attending the conference, while navigating over 1000 presentations and many poster sessions.

Community Engaged Research Learning Exchange

Jeanette Gustat of TU Public Health and Anamaria Villamarin-Lupin of Broadmoor Improvement Association discuss an onsite garden that supplements BIA’s food pantry at Broadmoor Community Church and its impact on the community and how community members and students are involved. Tulane and community members contribute their knowledge in small groups about gardens, research, programs, assessments and engagement. Tour the Arts and Wellness Center, the neighborhood including Broadmoor Community Center and Rosa Keller Library and the garden at Broadmoor Community Church.
