Dude CHAT, a workshop series that talks about the identity of masculinity and its impact on various topics. This session will be centered around how masculinity impacts relationships, societal norms around sex, and consent. We will have Title IX Coordinator, Marcus Fosters, leading this session. Dude CHAT is welcome to all but is intended for anyone who identifies as masculine.
In the summer of 2017, SUNY Cortland football player, Kyle Richard, was shot twice in his legs after intervening in a sexual assault and confronting the assailant of the crime. Kyle is an advocate & national speaker for sexual violence prevention in sports & will share his story to promote active bystanders, positive masculinity, and help individuals process personal trauma.

Description: In this workshop, participants will learn key definitions relating to sexual misconduct and gender discrimination. Participants will learn about the differences between private/confidential resources and how to submit a concerns report.

In this workshop, participants will learn key definitions relating to sexual misconduct and gender discrimination. This workshop includes information on evidence-based trauma-informed skills and advocacy within a workplace setting. This workshop includes information on evidence-based intervention tactics and conflict de-escalation practices. Participants will work through various case scenarios to practice incorporating skills as a means of intervention.
Join Tulane's Title IX Office as we support Campus Health's Body Respect Week! We will be tabling on McAlister distributing swag, resources on healthy relationships, and more. Thursday's Theme: My body deserves to be touched affectionately and with respect.

The first Tuesday of every April is SAAM Day of Action. The Day of Action is an opportunity to start off the month with highly visible and coordinated actions. Chances are someone in your life is a survivor of sexual assault, even if they have never shared their story with you. Show your support for survivors of sexual harassment by wearing teal - the color of sexual violence prevention - on April 5th and post a selfie to Instagram using #SAAM2022.
