USG Sustainability Committee and Alpha Kappa Psi are proud to co-host a speaker event with environmental justice advocate Sharon Lavigne on Tuesday, April 5th at 5PM. Winner of the prestigious Goldman Environmental Prize and founder of grassroots organization RISE St. James, Sharon is a local celebrity for her work protecting Cancer Alley residents from the development of new, toxic petrochemical plants.
Inspired by the Disney Channel Games, the Verzuz Games will host ten students from each grade to compete in a tournament of outdoor playground games including Tug of War, Man Overboard, Kickball, Red Light Green Light, Capture the Flag, and more. It will be held on April 15, 2022 at 4:00 PM in Berger Family Lawn.
The Undergraduate Student Government and Tulane University Legal Assistance Program are continuing their yearly tradition of hosting a Mardi Gras informational session and administrative panel to explore campus student safety resources and critical legal considerations to know before students celebrate Mardi Gras in New Orleans. The event will be held in LBC 203 (Stibbs Conference Room) at 6:00 PM on February 14, 2022. Free king cake will be provided to all attendees.
Sexual Violence Prevention and Response (SVPR) Townhall is for students to learn about the work staff and students are doing to combat sexual violence on campus. The event is dedicated to allow students to engage in discourse surrounding sexual violence as well as ask questions to staff dedicated to creating better support structures for survivors and ending sexual violence at Tulane.
Alpha Kappa Psi vs. Delta Sigma Pi in Verzuz One of Tulane Verzuz, a new competition event series hosted by the Undergraduate Student Government.
Alpha Kappa Psi and USG are collaborating to bring in Ally Coll, a renowned activist in the field of sexual harassment prevention, on February 10th for a live Q&A. Ally is the CEO and Founder of the Purple Method and CEO and Co-Founder of the Purple Campaign.

Student Life Committee will hold a "Meet your USG officers" event during Homecoming weekend for students and parents to stop by and learn more about USG and its positions. We will be handing out free Dat Dog to celebrate Homecoming and give parents a taste of some of our favorite NOLA foods!
