GES Clothing Swap

It's the time of the year for GES' annual clothing swap! Oftentimes, people may have trouble finding clothing that reflects their gender or allows them to properly express themselves. Here, members will be able to collaborate with their wardrobes, as well as give away clothing items that no longer suit their style or expression.

UNICEF Showcase/Benefit - Titled HER

This event encompasses putting together a showcase in celebration of gender empowerment month in correlation with Tulane for UNICEF, as one of the main themes UNICEF incorporates is Gender Empowerment for girls. We have been coordinating to try to give a platform for many different talents, and especially female performers/artists. This will include dance teams here at Tulane, and other singers and talent. (Some dance teams include TuJazbaa, DDC, Club Ace)

Federalist Society - Speaker - Ken Klukowski, senior counsel at the law firm Schaerr Jaffe

hosting Ken Klukowski, senior counsel at the law firm Schaerr Jaffe. Klukowski focuses on constitutional, administrative, and election law, and the federal courts. He served as the constitutional rights advisor on the Presidential Transition Team of President Trump, and has filled other politically appointed government positions.

Sharon Lavigne Speaker Event

USG Sustainability Committee and Alpha Kappa Psi are proud to co-host a speaker event with environmental justice advocate Sharon Lavigne on Tuesday, April 5th at 5PM. Winner of the prestigious Goldman Environmental Prize and founder of grassroots organization RISE St. James, Sharon is a local celebrity for her work protecting Cancer Alley residents from the development of new, toxic petrochemical plants.
