Meta-Analysis Workshop Series

Please save the date for Part 1 of the upcoming Meta-Analysis Workshop series featuring Tulane University Professor of Epidemiology, Tanika Kelly, PhD, MPH. The workshop will be held on Thursday, September 17th from 2:00-3:30 PM. The goal of the Meta-Analysis Workshop is to provide didactic training on the following learning objectives:

1. Conduct systematic literature searches using large electronic databases and other resources

2. Assess the relevance and quality of scientific publications

3. Extract key data from scientific publications

Introduction to EndNote X9

EndNote X9 is a comprehensive productivity tool for researchers - both online and off. It lets researchers find, store, and share work in the most efficient way possible, saving time and effort. In this online workshop, participants will learn how to create an EndNote library, import search results from databases, and automatically create a bibliography in Microsoft Word.

Publishing in the Health Sciences

On Thursday, March 12 at 4:00 PM, Heather Luciano (Publisher – Health & Medical Sciences, STM Journals, Elsevier) will lead a free workshop for researchers, students, etc. who are looking to publish articles in scholarly, peer-reviewed journals. This event coincides with Health Sciences Research Days on the Downtown Campus. The details are below.
