Paddle through the heart of the city on now-urban Bayou St. John, once an important shortcut from the Mississippi to Lake Pontchartrain. With the freedom to come, paddle, and go as you please, this activity is a must-do! Transportation and equipment are provided at no cost to you. Register in advance to secure your spot. Shuttles to Bayou St. John will leave campus every 30 minutes.
Learn and practice the basics of gentle myofascial release paired with yoga postures and sequences to relax your body and muscles. End class with restorative poses and guided relaxation. Props will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes.
This all-levels yoga class will focus on mindful movement, meditation, stretching and relaxation. After class, all participants are invited to build their own S’more with a perfectly roasted marshmallow from our firepits. Meet new people and learn about more opportunities to get involved with Outdoor Adventures and Fitness & Wellness. All participants must bring a yoga mat or towel for class.
