A night of European music

Two New Orleans-based musicians will play a selection of Ukrainian, French and Flamenco music to celebrate the diversity of European music and its influence on New Orleans culture. There will be some discussion of how music from the British Isles came to America and was transformed into Appalachian music; the inverse of what happened to jazz a few centuries later. Food and refreshments will be provided!
